It all began with Grandma telling me I had magic fingers when I was 6 years old. I feel like I have an edge on what I do in my industry because of all the sports I was in as a child. I had the opportunity to go to Junior Olympics in Martial Arts, played softball, competitive swimmer, ran track, threw shotput, wrestler in high school- before it was cool for girls to do that, and was at a personal training studio every morning before school if I wasn’t at practice during swim season. To be honest, my goal was to be a Navy Seal before following my dreams of becoming a Massage Therapist and then having my own business, but God had other plans for me. I became a mom of 2 boys and then married my best friend and became a mom of 6, 5 boys and 1 girl. If my friends or family were to describe me, they would say that I am a force to be reckoned with, but I have a heart bigger than I can carry sometimes, I am straight forward, blunt and to the point but respectfully so. I am a protector by nature, and I respect people who are respectful. I love my job with my entirety, and I take it very seriously! I always tell my clients ‘I’m gettin nerdy wit it’ because I have a lot of passion for what I do. It’s not very often that someone “knows” what they were made for at such a young age and even after 17 years as LMT, my love for Massage only grows.

I have a background in business management and after a decade in the fashion world I found my true passion for Massage Therapy. I just moved back to Springfield when I got married this year from St. Louis where I went to school to get my LMT license. Over the past 3 years I has traveled to Vegas to earn my Medical Massage License, as well as to North Carolina to get certified in Cupping, Gua-Sha, Complicated Shoulder and Cervical conditions, and Bamboo Therapy. I love connecting with people and building relationships with my clients so that I can best treat them according to their needs. I have been an athlete throughout my life and I have a passion for injury recovery and preventative injury treatments. I have been excited getting to know the people of the Springfield area. I am ready to put a plan together to get you living and feeling your best self!

My name is Autumn Burns, I’m a medical massage practitioner, and licensed massage therapist since 2021. I’m a mom of three beautiful children, and one of my hobbies is reading. I’m also a lifelong learner. I’ve always had a passion for healing. Growing up I wanted to be and obstetrician, veterinarian, any form of doctor really. I fell in love with the non-invasive practices of massage therapy and all the different paths this career choice has to offer. I prefer to do deep tissue massage, but I’m constantly changing my techniques and practices based on what my clients need and what I learn through continuing education. At Spirit of Healing Wellness Center I have the opportunity to put all my education into healing my clients.

Hi, my name is Darla. I’ve been drawn to massage since I was a little girl, and my aunts and uncles would give me a dollar to rub their backs. I distinctly remember when my uncle said that I helped him feel better for 2 weeks. That feeling of being a part of someone’s healing journey is what hooked me. It’s been a long and beautiful journey to get to this point of being able to do this for my career. I’m excited with every opportunity I get as a LMT to help people work through their pain to feel better on the other side.
I do deep tissue work that focuses on finding the tension knots and working them out. My goal is to find what is causing something to be stuck and working it out to bring better range of motion.
